ROADSMITH Parking Brake

On the manual transmission HTX models, as well as the best of the Honda (Shaft-Drive) lineup, ROADSMITH fabricates a mechanical brake that attaches to a single wheel and is actuated by a traditional pull-type lever on the side of the bike. As for the DCT transmission HTXs, we are able to retain the stock, push-button actuated electronic parking brake system that comes standard on the bike from Honda.

On our Belt-Drive kits the system works exactly like it does on the manual transmission Shaft-Drive bikes, as well as most automobiles produce in the last half century, with a pull-type mechanical lever attaching to a single rear brake caliper.
